The RR Review: The Beauty Blender and MAC Cosmetics Fix+ (Game Changer Products)

I honestly could not get over how flawless and beautiful my face looked today after using my new Beauty Blender from Sephora and Fix+ from MAC! These two products have totally changed my look for me. Here's why!

MAC Fix+ and Beauty Blender

Wow, just wow. You can't really notice a difference in my LOTD photos because I had bad lighting for pictures today, but they really made a huge difference--mostly the Fix+. After cleansing and applying my moisturizer, I sprayed my face with the Fix+. I forgot to apply my foundation with the Beauty Blender, but I blended my highlighter--Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Éclat--with the blender. Usually after blending my highlighter in with either a brush or my finger tips, the Touche Éclat looks chalky and sits on top of my skin, but it seemed to just melt into my skin when it was blended in with the Beauty Blender. I also applied Benefit's High Beam to my cheek bones with the Beauty Blender and it made my skin seem like it was glowing from the inside out. I love this Beauty Blender, can't wait to try applying my foundation with it! After I finished applying all my makeup, I sprayed my face once again with the Fix+ to set it all. Hours later and my makeup hadn't budged or lost it's fresh look. Usually I use one of Urban Decay's setting sprays, and yes, my makeup doesn't budge, but my face no longer looks fresh a few hours later.

I will be honest, after coming home tonight, I stared at my face in the bathroom for a good 15 minutes. I made all sorts of faces and then took many, many selfies. I was seriously in love with how amazing my skin looked. It just glowed and looked so natural and flawless and beautiful. I can't believe these two products, an over priced sponge and a spray, changed how my makeup applies, lasts, and looks so drastically--in a good way!

These two gems are game changers, that's for sure.

Xoxo,
Russian Red.
