Today was a happy day as it was my boyfriend and I's year and a half anniversary (check out his food blog: www.vancouverfoodie.blogspot.com) and so I was feeling happy and had lots of fun playing with my makeup and I really like how it turned out!

Eyes: Rimmel London White Kohl eyeliner pencil, Sephora blue eyeshadows, MAC Neo Orange pigment
Face: MAC Face and Body foundation in N1
Brows: Anastasia Dipbrow in Auburn, MAC Vanilla pigment to highlight my brow bones
Eyes: I applied Rimmel London's white Kohl eyeliner pencil all over my eyelid and smudged it as a base. Then I used three Sephora brand eyeshadows (an icy blue, a bright blue, and a deep turquoise blue) and blended them all into my crease. On my lower lashline, I applied MAC's Neo Orange pigment. Eyeliner is Geisha Ink liquid eyeliner and mascara is Geisha Ink Voluminous mascara
Cheeks: MAC mineralize skin finish in Perfect Topping with Vanilla pigment and Benefit's High Beam to highlight
Lips: Lined my lips with MAC's Chromagraphic multi use liner in Hi Def Cyan and then smudged the color inwards. I then applied MAC's Amplified finish lipstick in Up the Amp to my lips. Around the edges, I blended Hi Def Cyan pigment into the lipstick and then finished off the lip by reapplying my lipstick just to the middle of my lips.
I have owned Up the Amp since I was in grade 7 (I think) and it was probably my second or third MAC lipstick and at first, I really loved it, and then over the years its been left behind, but I really loved using it this way with the two Hi Def Cyan products; made me start loving it again!
Has anyone else left a product behind only to revamp it in a new combination or way of wearing it?
Xoxo, Russian Red.
