LOTD: May 10th, 2014

Today I wanted to recreate this look from @mykie_ on Instagram. I absolutely love her work and she is a total gem! Very talented! I felt like a canary/penguin today and I enjoyed every second of it. And I'm actually very impressed with myself after how my eyes turned out! Clearly I was missing the birdy falsies, but I like how I recreated it!

As you can probably see below in my photos, I focused more on recreating her eyes than the full look. I wish I had done the white lips though or at least some color on my lips because I really don't like the nude lip I did!
Full Face

Lips: MAC Viva Glam II Lipstick with Rimmel London White Kohl Eyeliner
Eyes: MAC Ever So Yellow Pigment, Rimmel London White Kohl Eyeliner, and MAC Studio Sculpt Shade and Line Ebony Blend

Face: MAC Face and Body foundation in N1. I used MAC's Pro Longwear blush in Baby Don't Go to contour my face.

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Auburn, brow bones are highlighted with MAC Vanilla pigment

Eyes: I started with MAC's Ever So Yellow pigment in my inner corner and blended it out from there along my crease. Lined my lower waterline and lash line with Rimmel London's white kohl eyeliner pencil and set it with the white eyeshadow from MAC's Studio Sculpt Shade and Line Ebony Blend. My eyeliner is Geisha Ink's liquid eyeliner and filled in the white spaces in it with the Rimmel White eyeliner and the Ebony Blend shadow again. Mascara is Geisha Ink's Voluminous mascara.

Cheeks: MAC mineralize skin finish in Perfect Topping. I used their Vanilla pigment and Benefit's High Beam to highlight my cheek bones.

Lips: MAC's Viva Glam II lipstick and them blended the Rimmel London white eyeliner into it on top.

I was surprised with how easily I recreated this look and I look forward to recreating more artist's looks in the future!

Xoxo,
Russian Red.
