LOTD: May 16th, 2014

Happy May Long Weekend everyone!!! I hope you're all as excited as I am to have a four day break from everything! Here's today's look inspired by an artist I follow on Instagram, @frenchtouchofmakeup! She has the most beautiful face—her brows, lips, and cheek bones are flawless and I am super envious! Check her out, her looks are super hot!

Original Look by @frenchtouchofmakeup

My Recreation of the Original Look
Lips: All MAC products; Genuine Orange Chromagraphic liner, Crosswires Lipstick,  and Teen Dream Patent Polish

Eyes: MAC Ever So Yellow pigment, MAC Pearl Glide eyeliner in Undercurrent,  MAC eyeshadows Baby It's Cold and Woodsmoke, Urban Decay Freak

Face: MAC Face and Body foundation in N1 with MAC Pro Lonwear blush in Baby Don't Go to contour and Smashbox's Halo Highlighting Wand in Pearl to highlight.

Brows: Anastasia Dipbrow in Auburn with Smashbox's Chocolate eyeshadow from their Mega Vision palette on top and brow bones are highlighted with MAC Vanilla pigment.

Eyes: First, I applied MAC's Baby It's Cold eyeshadow from a duo eyeshadow from their 2011 Holiday Collection all over my lid and then I sprayed my brush with MAC's Fix+ and applied MAC's Ever So Yellow pigment to my entire lid. I lined my upper lash line with Geisha Ink's liquid eyeliner. On my lower lash line, I lined it with MAC's Pearl Glide eyeliner in Undercurrent, extended the liner outwards, and smudged it. Over top, I applied the other MAC eyeshadow, Woodsmoke, from the 2011 Holiday Collection and then blended Freak into it from Urban Decay's Electric palette. Mascara is the usual Geisha Ink Voluminous mascara.

Lips: I lined and filled in my lips with MAC's multi-use Chromagraphic liner in Genuine Orange, applied their Crosswires lipstick on top, and then their Teen Dream Patent Polish on top of that for some gloss.

Cheeks: MAC mineralize skin finish in Perfect Topping with Vanilla pigment and Benefit's High Beam to highlight.

I had a lot of fun doing this look! What do y'all think?

Xoxo,
Russian Red.
