As a kid, my aunt often sent me one of Stila's "travelling palettes" for Christmas. I'm not sure if they still do them, but they used to base a small palette on a city. I can't remember which ones I had, but both had four eyeshadows and a blush. I used to think they were the coolest things on earth. Since then, I haven't owned any Stila eyeshadows... until now. I just got the In the Light palette and I like it!
This palette comes with 10 eyeshadows and one smudge stick waterproof eyeliner! They're all very pretty colors; very neutral and a "covers all the basics" type palette. Four of the shades are matte and the other 6 are shimmery with a creamy like texture.
I did a look on the 21st of April using Bliss, Sunset, and Sandstone and I was impressed with the color payoff and how well it lasted throughout the day! If you want more details on the look, check out the post! The shadows apply smoothly and blend well. I'd say Stila has done a good job with them.
As for the smudge stick in Damsel, a dark chocolate brown, I love it. I own a few of their smudge sticks and it's a great product! It's creamy and wears very well throughout the day, easy to apply.
Here are the swatches for y'all!

I look forward to using this palette in the future! It's simple, pretty, and versatile when it comes to creating different sorts of looks!
