LOTD: April 5th, 2014

Wow! It feels like it has been forever since I posted! Sorry about that, everyone! The past week has just been crazy hectic what with the wedding, my boyfriend heading back to New York City for school, and me going back to school, too! 

Speaking of my boyfriend, he has a food blog (www.vancouverfoodie.blogspot.com) and has received a huge amount of local recognition so far even though he's had his blog for a shorter amount of time than I have had mine—which is really short! Two weeks in a row now, two of our local newspapers have posted his photos and I couldn't be more proud of him! I'd love it if you could check his blog out, it's great! Thank you!

Full Face

Lips: MAC Patent Polish lip pencil in Go For Girlie

Eyes: MAC pigment in Magenta Madness, Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid eyeliner in Paradise Pink, and UD Foxy eyeshadow from the Naked 2 palette

As you can tell, I took a lot of photos of this took, haha! 

I did a big makeup shop yesterday so I'm using a few new products—look forward to some posts about 'em! 

Face: MAC Face and Body foundation in N1.

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Auburn, brow bones highlighted with MAC Vanilla pigment. 

Eyes: First, as a base, I used Foxy from Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette all over my lid and then I applied MAC's Magenta Madness pigment to my outer V and then blended inwards. After that, I used Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Paradise Pink (an awesome super hot shade of pink!!!) to line my upper lashline and drew a small wing. For mascara, I used my Geisha Ink Voluminous mascara. 

Cheeks: Yves St. Laurent Touche Éclat on my cheek bones, MAC Perfect Topping mineralize skin finish on top of that, and then the final touch was MAC's Vanilla pigment. 

Lips: MAC's brand new product: Patent Polish lip pencil in Go for Girlie. 

Fushia/magenta/hot pink is my new favourite color... And a bold one, at that! Would you wear it? Or not your style?
