LOTD: April 18th, 2014

Today was a pretty amazing day! I woke up to a beautiful sunny morning, got a lot done, did a big haul at MAC, and have some exciting news! I can't share just yet, but I hope I will be able to soon! Being as I woke up in a great mood, I was really motivated to do something nice and fun with my makeup this morning so here's my look of the day!

Full Face

Lips: MAC Magenta lip liner and Matte Heroine Lipstick
Eyes: UD Electric palette Gonzo, Urban, and Jilted; Smashbox Mega Vision palette Lavender, and a purple eyeshadow from a Sephora palette

Face: MAC Face and Body foundation in N1, Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineralize Finishing powder in Light.

Brows: Anastasia Dipbrow in Auburn, brow bones highlighted with MAC Vanilla pigment.

Eyes: From the Urban Decay palette, I applied Gonzo all over my lid from lash line to crease and then blended Urban with a bit of Jilted into my crease and up to my brow bone. Then I blended a bright purple shade from a Sephora palette on top of that and then Lavender from Smashbox's Mega Vision palette on top of that and into Gonzo. I applied Urban to my lower lash line mixed with the purple from the Sephora palette and Lavender from the Smashbox palette again. Lined my eyes using Geisha Ink's Liquid eyeliner and coated my lashes with Geisha Ink's Voluminous mascara.

Cheeks: MAC Full of Joy powder blush, cheek bones highlighted with Vanilla pigment.

Lips: MAC Magenta lip pencil and matte Heroine lipstick.

I just realized this look's color scheme basically mirrors that of my crazy colorful LOTD from April 15th—except it's way more wearable than the crazy colorful one! Oops! Well, what a coincidence! Regardless, I love both of the two looks!

Xoxo,
Russian Red.
