The two products I originally had my sights on to purchase this weekend were MAC's brand new Patent Polish lip pencils. You know what a chubby stick is? Yes? These are MAC's version of those. I'll go into more detail about them when I post a review later on. MAC Cosmetics launched 12 of these lip pencils on Thursday, April 3rd in an array of shades— covering all the bases with pinks, reds, berries, a coral, a purple, a nude, and a wine-y brown shade. They're moisterizing like a balm, long lasting like a lipstick, and glossy like a lipgloss. I honestly didn't expect to really like them, but they're surprisingly great! I'm a stickler for matte lipsticks, I haven't been big into lip glosses and shine for a few years now, but I am honestly contemplating picking up a few more! Again, keep an eye out for my review of these lip pencils!
I swatched all twelve of them at the store and pretty much tried half of them on two or three times each before finally deciding to go with Teen Dream, the coral shade, and Go For Girlie, a light pink shade that has just the tiniest bit of a shimmer to it. I'm not a big fan of pink (despite today's look of the day), but I actually really like Go For Girlie! It's a light pink shade that really pops because of how light it is and I felt it really brightened my complexion. After wearing my Scarlett Ibis lipstick (MAC's Marilyn Monroe collection) a few weeks ago and realizing how much I love coral/orange shades, Teen Dream was a no brainer. It's a perfect breezy, bright, coral shade that's super wearable!

Not only did MAC release the Patent Polish lip pencils, they also came out with four brand new powder blush shades that are the definition of Spring! They came out with a coral, a bright pink, a pink-purple, and a lilac purple. I fell in love with the light, lilac purple shade and just knew I had to have it! I mean c'mon, purple on your cheeks?! I never would have even thought of it until I saw this blush! The lilac purple shade is called Full of Joy.

I totally had no intention at all whatsoever of buying a pigment, much less a neon pink pigment, but I felt like buying things and recently I have started to really enjoy pigments so I wanted another one to play with and I remember Steph (previously mentioned as my favourite MAC girl!) reccommened Magenta Madness to me and voilà, I bought it! To see it in action, check out today LOTD (April 5th)!

And last, but not least for my new MAC additions, the satin Filme Noire lipstick; also reccommended by my lovely Stephanie! Filme Noire looks great paire with the Nightmoth lip pencil and you can rock it with a natural look or a revved up "going out" look! Personally, I love it just on it's own with an otherwise mostly bare face.

Lately I have been dying to play with a white pencil eyeliner and so I finally grabbed one! I picked up Nyx's white Kohl eyeliner and can't wait to use it—really looking forward to trying from funky/retro looks! Now, I'm totally what you would call a "brand whore", but I've heard a lot of great things about Nyx. And so far, in my experience, it's a great brand! And extremely cheap, too! Which is always a bonus. The liner is super creamy and pretty opaque which is just what I was looking for in the product!
The last thing I bought yesterday was Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid eyeliner in Paradise Pink! Since I first saw this color, along with the other new ones released for Spring this year, I have totally been lusting over them. Thanks to this and the Magenta Madness pigment, I can't get enough of hot pink right now, but I looking to try the pastel blue shade of this product, as well! I bought mine at Sephora and as of right now, I'm pretty sure that's the only store selling these shades right now.
The swatches for all of these products are below. Also, I apologize for originally completely forgetting I bought Filme Noire and thus forgetting to include it in the same swatch photo as all the other products and I additionally apologize for my arm being all sun burnt looking after washing off the other swatches!
