New Babies/The RR Review! Tory Burch Lipsticks!

A few months back, I saw Tory Burch had released a line of lipsticks and I have wanted to try them ever since! Unfortunately, they are only available in the states right now. Lucky for me though, my mom got one of her friends to pick me up not one, but two shades to try while she was down there on a trip!

If I'm being totally honest, even though I really wanted to give these lipsticks a try, I wasn't expecting much from them at all. They're supposed to be sheer lipsticks with a hint of color. In my mind that translated to not long lasting, not matte, barely pigmented. But boy was I wrong!

Before I even get to the actual lipsticks though, CAN I JUST MENTION WHAT ADORABLE LITTLE BAGGIES THEY CAME IN?!! I mean, look at these!

AREN'T THESE CUTE?!
You can't tell me these aren't the cutest things you have ever seen!

The packaging of the lipsticks are also uber cute!

The bright cheeriness of the orange packaging just makes you have to fall in love with them before even seeing the actual lipsticks themselves!

And now, for the lipsticks themselves, may I present to you: Scoundrel and Knock On Wood!

As I said before, I wasn't expecting much pigment from these as they were said to be sheer doses of color. When applying Scoundrel to my lips this morning, I expected a tint of scarlet, but got full coverage color! Which is great!

After wearing Scoundrel throughout the day at work for six hours, it hadn't even budged! Sure, the color had faded just a little bit, but that was mostly because of me eating lunch on my break. It lasted very well throughout the entire day—which I hadn't expected, again!

So far, color? Check. Long lasting? Check.

Now, how about how it feels on my lips? Another big check! This lipstick is like butter on your lips. I was surprised at how nicely, neatly, and evenly it applied. I didn't even need a lip brush! It's moisterizing and my lips just felt so moist and saturated all day, I loved it! Also, it's light, like you can hardly tell it's there!

As for price, it sells for 32$ american money. This is 12$ more than MAC lipsticks, but I honestly believe these lipsticks are well worth your money!

Swatches:
From Left to Right (no flash): Scoundrel, Knock On Wood

From Left to Right (with flash): Scoundrel, Knock On Wood
I don't have a single complaint about these. 10/10. Gorgeous packaging and a fantastic product.

Bonus points because they smell amazing!

Xoxo,
Russian Red.
