LOTD: March 1st, 2014 (Holy Cow! Can't Believe It's March!)

Hey everyone! Today was a really busy day for me; I worked all day and then attended my school's play Alice in Wonderland. The show was fantastic and I am very, very sad I chose not to be apart of the cast this year! Great job to everyone who participated— cast and crew! I really could not do more than just a simple look today as I am very tired and really, really just wanting to go barefaced so badly right now! The most exciting thing about my face today was that I wore Diva for the first time in ages!

Full Face

Lips: YSL Touche Eclat concealer/highlighter, MAC Burgundy lip liner, MAC Matte lipstick in Diva

Eyes: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Waterproof eyeliner

Brows: MAC Folie shadow and Anastasia brow gel. My brow bones are highlighted with MAC's Vanilla pigment.

Eyes: A plain, thin line of Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Waterpropf eyeliner and Bobbi Brown's Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening mascara. By the way, after doing my first inventory count ever today, I now know pretty much every Stila product and every Stila shade. Yipee.

Cheeks: Contoured with MAC's Pro Longwear blush in Baby Don't Go and my cheeks bones are highlighted with MAC's Vanilla pigment.

Lips: Okay, so I tend to refrain from wearing Diva all the time because the pigment settles in your lip creases and then it looks all nasty. And this makes me sad because Diva is such a beautiful color. Today I tried patting Yves St. Laurent Touche Éclat on my lips first before lining and filling in my lips with MAC's lip liner in Burgundy and then applying Diva and it worked wonders! First of all, my lipstick didn't crease at all all day and secondly, it stayed on throughout my entire seven hour shiff! Which is truly amazing! Now that I have found a way to combat my gross creased lipstick problem, I will start to wear Diva a lot more!

Hope you enjoyed this clean, simple look!

Xoxo,
Russian Red.
