| From Left to Right: 24/7 Glide On eye pencil in Peversion, Kinky, Freestyle, Mushroom, Backdoor, Blackout, Barlust, Rockstar, Evidence, Loaded, and Asphalt |
This palette comes with 10 "smoked out" shadows, a travel sized Primer Potion, one of their 24/7 Glide On eyeliner pencils in black, and a look book to help you in using the palette.
Looking at the above swatches of the shadows, I'll be honest, not super impressed. I wish the colors were a tad bit brighter— especially Rockstar, Evidence, and Loaded. But then again, I haven't tried them out yet so my opinion of them is rather first impression-like as of right now. We'll see later what I think of them after I have actually used them.
People have always raved to me about UD's Primer Potion. I'm pretty sure there's a cult obsession going on in the world over this product. I have been using it for probably a little over a year, and it doesn't blow me away. It does the job, but it doesn't live up to the expectations I had after hearing great things about it from so many people. At least I have an extra now though for when my current one runs out, yay!
I am really excited to finally try their 24/7 Glide On eye pencils! I have been eyeing these for a long time in stores. Their rich pigments and bold colors (like whoa, that hot pink shade?!) caught my eye and they just look like they're amazing. So stoked to finally have my hands on one! As you can see in the above swatch, this liner is a very true, very intense black. It seemed to have gone on smoothly and I tried really hard to smudge it after it had set, but I could not get it to budge so I feel like it will last very well throughout the day and into the night!
Check back soon to see a look using this palette as well as a review once I have used it! Can't wait to give this baby a go!
Xoxo,
Russian Red.
